Connect Your Shopify Store

Takes about 30 seconds. We only ask for read-only access to your products and inventory.

Follow these 3 steps

Open your Shopify Admin

This is the page where you manage products and orders — not your public storefront. You can get there from admin.shopify.com .

Copy the URL from your browser's address bar

It will look like this:
https://admin.shopify.com/store/yourstore/products

The highlighted part is your store's unique name — that's all we need.

Copy the whole thing (or just the yourstore part) and paste it below.

Click Connect — we'll handle the rest

Shopify will ask you to approve StockGuard. Click Install, and you'll be back in the app automatically.

Also works: yourstore.myshopify.com or just yourstore.

Don't know your admin URL?

No problem. Here's the easiest way:

  1. Go to your store's website.
  2. Scroll to the very bottom and click the small Log in link (or visit your .myshopify.com domain).
  3. Once signed in, look at your browser's address bar — that's your admin URL.
Want to test with a Shopify Dev Store?

Dev stores are free and perfect for trying StockGuard end-to-end:

  1. Sign in to the Shopify Partner Dashboard (free to create).
  2. Open Stores → Add store → Create development store.
  3. Add a few sample products with inventory tracking enabled.
  4. Paste that store's admin URL above and click Connect.
